Holy Greta
As part of the Hacking Global Pop Icons program from Shared Campus, held as an online iteration during Covid-19, Holy Greta is a collaborative online video game artwork between artists Lizzie Wee, John Cheung, Gigi Koh, and Julie Olympia. The theme being Greta Thunberg and looking at the idea of the Future of the world in which we either worship Greta as a holy icon or ignore the important message she has fought for since a young age as a climate activist. John took charge of the programming, Julie edited any videos like the trailer below, Gigi created some of the pop-up features, and Lizzie contributed much of the visual and audio pop-ups as well as illustrating the jumping characters within each realm.
