I_S_L_A_N_D_S PENINULAR GALLERY SINGAPORE
Invited to takeover the I_S_L_A_N_D_S space for 6 months, co-curators Lizzie Wee, Erman Ashburn, and Shen Jia-Qi showed 5 artists and programmed the digital interventions for the challenging size of the gallery. Featuring Sarah Ninjawhee, Desiree Tham, Marla Bendini, Lizzie Wee, and Akshatha Rangarajan, the all female artist lineup was thoughtfully considered as group of emerging artists who would benefit from a digital platform for a small solo showcase. Originally only invited as a participating artist, I joined the curator group early on as someone with the vision of bringing the shows to social media with my unique positioning as knowing how to utilise these tools.
